“Wow” Store opens the doors in Madrid ..

Located in one of the most important streets and arteries of the city center, especially for the shopping, it has recentrly opened (mid of March 2022) in the Spanish capital ” Wow” store, a mega Flaghship Store of 5.600 square meters divided over 8 levels and 5 floors.

An Urban con concept – Store, a modern and complete building, designed by several young and established architects, who have created a multifunctional space with different concepts : Fashion, leisure spaces, up to a digital museum . Inside store we immediately find a central escalator, which takes us through the different spaces dedicated to beauty & welness, fashion and sport, interior design, technology and even gourmet. 

The idea was born from the enterpreneur “Dimas Gimeno”known as the ex President of the renowned chain “El Cortes Ingles”, who (after years of experience in the sector) understood very soon, that the typical institutional shop will disappear and that the trend would have been to create more experiences within the spaces for sale, eliminating the idea of the typical institutional Retail.

As a metter of fact, here is quite the opposite : it starts with the online sale of international brands (almost all unknown in the fahion industry ) that have became trendy among youngs that are put on display at the actual sale.

The perfect name embodies the funny and ironic identity on site, a complitely new concept addressed to the very young population of today, the so-called generation Z and the millenials.

The trends of the clothing and accessories collections are very clear, the flourescent colors totally exalt  the 2022 fashion season. The display are almos all very neat and minimalist. The sale prices are on average quite high, characteristic of luxury shops, but the selection is very well done and it also lives up to the materials used, which all seem to be top-notch, even if you can’t understand well from the labels where the production of most clothing comes from. Many are the Sponsors and in fact, part of the corners are totally and rightly dedicated to them. The effects of the visual videos really are “Supersonic”every floor and every room has different colour and make us feel an emotion. These effects often seem like they have just come out of the “Star Wars “movie with holograms scattered on the walls and the floors, and continuous swords of light cross in the ceiling. 

Distant memories of graffiti’s on the walls of our streets often resurface, especially those of the 90’s … The background music is always “Rock” and stimulate a good mood, without ever bothering.  Beautiful are the ” 3 D fashion objects” , examples that arise from a design idea, until becoming an objects in the reality. There is even a “Robot” wich suddenly appears and that serves you a warm coffee…

Another brillant idea is the “Tableau” with the names of the emplyees and their hours on duty,  its look like a “Casino roulette” but in a modern style and gives life to the people that every day are there to help and recomend us to what to buy. This choice as well is not casual at all, beacause very soon will born also a goliardic space under the banner of gamble. 

The expectations of this Store have exceeded our imagination. We are now looking forward to the next opening of the “gourmet lounge” on the 5th floor , which will surprise you with cooking classes already announced, fast food consumed on the spot and of course, the delivery @home.

Even the events, which will be mainly musical are ready to start in the next few weeks, with a precise calendar/timetable that will certainly surprise us too with innovative, alternative and above all technological ideas.
